Currently I work as a researcher and academic at the University College London Institute of Education.
I’m based at the London Knowledge Lab in the Department of Culture Communication and Media and I am a founder member of DARE: The Digital | Arts | Research | Education collaborative.
This blog is a (very) occasional space for trying out new ideas and for reflecting on (and redirecting towards) thinking about media literacy, learning and curating. I believe that last item in the list is as important as all the others and implies a different kind of literacy practice in new media – organising memory, identity, connections, images, videos, onward links and so on for display and exhibition. The exhibition changes with the context, the medium used and the life events surrounding it.
I should add that this blog contains opinions which are mine and do not necessarily reflect the views of my employer.
